La Jolla Kayak Rental
Kayak La Jolla and the surrounding area on your own if you are an experienced paddler! Kayak rentals in La Jolla are great for those who have kayaked before and/or those who are very familiar with the area. Because of the unique geography of La Jolla, the water is usually quite calm and full of marine life within the La Jolla Ecological Reserve, making it an ideal area for kayaking. Paddle along the sandy flats at La Jolla Shores to view the harmless leopard sharks from atop your kayak! They swim around in just a few feet of water and venture into the shallow waters each year to spawn.
La Jolla Shores
The waters of La Jolla Shores are unique because of the recreational activities available in the area. The summer waves are usually the most gentle in all of San Diego, creating a wonderful beach for swimming, wading, beginner surfers, scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking. To increase safety and enjoyment, the lifeguards divide the shoreline into water activity sections. This is precisely what makes the area so attractive to ocean lovers, as there are many water activities to choose from.
Check-in
Please arrive at least 20 to 30 minutes prior to your reservation time.
