Our experienced staff of expert instructors supportively guide you through the fundamentals of surfing. Beginners start with the basics of paddling, board handling, wave selection and board riding. Your success is guaranteed!

A Bit About Us
We are one of California’s leading professional surf schools and have been in continuous operation since 1995. We are authorized as a concessionaire to operate year-round at South Carlsbad State Beach, which is about 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego. We are permitted and performance bonded by the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation. As such we are required to carry general commercial liability insurance and stay current in safety training.

The personal safety of our clients is our primary concern, so our expert surfing instructors are Red Cross certified in Lifesaving, CPR, and First Aid. Your San Diego surfing lesson will also cover etiquette, address environmental issues, and teach ocean awareness.

Meeting Location
We will meet at South Carlsbad State Beach. Directions will be provided on your E-Ticket upon completing your reservation.
