Lillis & Williamson Record Debut Comedy Albums
La Jolla Comedy Store audience set for 2 albums in 1 night
Former San Diego based comedians Taylor Williamson and Julia Lillis will be recording their debut albums Tuesday, February 7 at The La Jolla Comedy Store, the club where they both began their careers on the hallowed open mic night.
Julia Lillis is an accomplished stand-up and musical comedian that has appeared on MTV, E! Entertainment Television and Fuel TV. Lillis is currently the official jingle writer for The Dennis Miller Show and provides musical accompaniment for several of Los Angeles’ hottest comedy shows including The Naughty Show with SamTripoli. Lillis was previously stationed in San Diego while serving in the United States Navy.
Taylor Williamson is a native of Del Mar and started doing stand-up while still a senior in high school. He became a young member of The La Jolla Comedy Store’s Best of San Diego, before being made a regular at The Improv in Hollywood just a few short years later. Williamson now resides in Los Angeles and tours the country performing at clubs and colleges from coast to coast. Williamson has appeared on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and was a semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. For the paltry price of five dollars, you can be a part of the audience for two live comedy albums recorded in San Diego’s longest running comedy club.
