Horton Plaza Mall

Known for its unique and artistic architecture, Horton Plaza recently installed another piece of public art, a mural inspired by an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Although it’s located in the heart of the Gaslamp, guests don’t have to worry about feeding the meter. Parking is free for up to three hours with validation, allowing visitors plenty of time to browse more than 130 stores and even check out surrounding restaurants and bars. In the winter, visitors can look forward to an outdoor ice skating rink.
