What is the difference between Standard and Pro?
The primary difference between Pro and Standard is the number of tools available. For instance, Pro has the following tool bar:

Do registered users have to pay for upgrades?
The upgrade policy is under review, however, bug fix releases will always be free to registered users. We will charge for major updates depending on how recently a user purchased their version - and how long it was since the last release. Watch this site for more news on this subject.

Will the new WebEdit® have a drag-n-drop interface like FrontPage?
Nope. WebEdit® is designed for serious web developers who need lean, clean sites. In our experience, the GUI's out there all know how to add code, but they don't know how to take it out and almost always blow away your careful formatting. It's been interesting to see the products that released with GUIs as their main selling point adding more and more of the editing features that WebEdit® was founded on.

When is the next update to WebEdit®?
Things have gone much slower than we hoped, but we use it daily and have accumulated a significant number of changes. When the new version is properly tested, we'll be releasing it. New features include embedded Java support, SQL Server autogeneration tools and PHP code sensitivity.
