Pacific Beach is nestled between Ocean Beach and Mission Beach. PB is known for Crystal Pier, lots of clubs, bars and coffee shops. There tends to be a younger crowds (twenty somethings). The place see and be seen is on the boardwalk - which can be quite crowded with, rollerbladeer, joggers, runners, bikers and more. This is the ultimate spot for people watching.

  • Life Guards: Staffed daily, year round at at the foot of Grand Avenue. Generally duty is from 9:00 a.m. to dusk.
  • Water Activity: Separate water areas reserved for swimming and surfing
  • Scuba: Prohibited
  • Restrooms/Showers: A the foot of Grand Avenue at the lifeguard station.
  • Disabled Accessibility: Accessible to wheelchairs.
  • Beach Fires: Containers for beach fires are provided during summer months, they are available on a first come, first served basis.
