With the fall touring season in full swing there are a ton of great shows happening across San Diego, from North Park to Solana Beach. SanDiego.com has combed through the local venues to highlight some of this week’s best shows in America’s Finest City.

Oregon punk trio Broadway Calls stop by Bar Eleven in North Park with Portland’s Lee Corey Oswald, Know Your Saints and Save Amos as the openers. 3519 El Cajon Blvd. (21+) $6

Surf jazz duo the Mattson 2 hit up El Dorado for an evening of retro sounds with L.A.-based Columbian musicians, Il Abanico. 1030 Broadway (21+) FREE
The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach hosts a great local showcase with Hargo, Gayle Skidmore and local power trio Heavy Glow. 143 South Cedros Avenue (21+) $8
L.A.-based duo Electric Guest stop by Soda Bar with opening acts Le Ra and The Slashes. 3615 El Cajon Blvd (21+) $7

Scottish band We Were Promised Jetpacks stop in Little Italy to perform at The Casbah alongside Royal Bangs and Bear Hands. 2501 Kettner Blvd (21+) $15
Fresh from their performance at this year’s Fun Fun Fun Fest, indie-pop act Ra Ra Riot will take the stage at the Belly Up Tavern with openers Delicate Steve and Yelloe Ostrich. 143 South Cedros Avenue (21+) $18
Local band The Brian Ellis Group hits up the Tin Can Ale House with support from Broxa and Zoo. 1863 5th Avenue (21+) $4
For the hip-hop heads in San Diego, Mac Miller performs at House of Blues in downtown with opening acts Casey Veggies and PAC DIV. 1055 5th Avenue (All Ages) $20

The Casbah has a triple bill with Domino Records recordings artists Austra and opening sets from Grimes and Lunar Maps. 2501 Kettner Blvd (21+) $12
The Belly Up Tavern hosts another great show with Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears, with Rolling Stone magazine’s The Sheepdogs, Dikes of Holland and DJ Claire. Sponsored by local radio station FM 94.9. 143 South Cedros Avenue (21+) $20
Wild Pack of Canaries will kick out the jams at The Tin Can Ale House with help from Pilots and Girls in Trouble. 1863 5th Avenue (21+) $5

Experimental Japanese rockers Boris return to The Casbah with support from Tera Melos and local band Weatherbox. 2501 Kettner Blvd (21+) $15
Part comedy, part rock n’ roll, Captured By Robots! returns to Soda Bar along with Midnight Eagle and Swore. 3615 El Cajon Blvd (21+) $10
Veteran post-hardcore band Thrice come to House of Blues with La Dispute, Moving Mountains and O’Brother. 1055 5th Avenue (All Ages) $20

It’s a heavy hitting locals-only bill at The Casbah with Dead Feather Moon, Black Hondo, The Get Down Automatic and The Heavy Guilt Duo. 2501 Kettner Blvd (21+) $10
