The blue waters around Catalina Island are flourishing with sea life to view and it is a great area for water activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skis, boating, glass bottom boat, kayaking, sailing, fishing, submarine tours, para-sailing, ocean rafting, swimming, and more! We suggest grabbing your fins and snorkel and heading right into the ocean to explore the sea life. Catalina Island waters are pretty clear and have a very healthy ecosystem making snorkeling in this area ideal.

In the Air

See the island from above with a helicopter tour or zip-lining. There are companies that offer helicopter rides to Catalina and tours of Catalina Island. This is a great option if you aren't on a budget and are up for an adventure. See the Island in a whole new light from way up above in the sky!

Departing from San Pedro, Long Beach, and Dana Point to the island ports of Avalon or Two Harbors. There are 30 departures offered daily to conveniently travel to Catalina Island. Which means that this can easily also be just a day trip and you will still have plenty of time to explore and have fun!
