After leaving San Diego Bay, the whale watching group came across a large group of about 200 common dolphins mixed some Pacific White-sided dolphins. There was also a single Gray Whale heading south along with spouts and tail flukes that we were able to follow. In the afternoon we spotted a Gray Whale that breached 6 times. We got great views all around.

On the last day of the year we spotted 6 Gray Whales! It is evident that the Gray Whale's southward migration is in full swing, and what a treat it was to see that with our tours.  All our guests also enjoyed seeing a dozen Pacific White sided Dolphins enjoying their evening in the bay.
