Top 5 Things to Know about the Summer Safari 2017
Park Hours: There are many different safari's you may want to interact with, so make sure to plan your day accordingly. Be mindful that the park opens at 9am and closes at 5pm.
Parking: San Diego Zoo Safari Park parking fees vary depending on the size of your vehicle.
Flight line Safari: Get tickets to soar above it all! For ages 8 and up, up will soar safely as high as 130 feet with a birds eye view of the park. You may also choose to record your flight and take that experience home with you.
Behind-the-Scenes Safari: Get up close and personal with some of our animal ambassadors on the behind-the-scenes safari such as, cheetahs, lions and rhinos!
Admission: San Diego Zoo Safari Park admission costs vary by package and do provide discounts to children ages 3-11.
Why it's Awesome: We love the San Diego Zoo Summer Safari because of it's dedication to conservation and education of wild life. In the Behind-the-Scene Safari you can purchase tickets to the veterinary medical center and learn about the history of the veterinary services at the Park. The San Diego Safari Zoo is dedicated to providing safe habitats that most closely resemble habitats in the wild for the safety and wellbeing of the animals in their care. Staff is careful and educated on the animals needs and habits to better serve them and protect them for danger while we enjoy them up close. Make sure to always listen to the Zoo team and be aware that we are privileged to be able to experience the wonders of the wild so close to home.
