A few years ago, Adam and Zuzanna launched the LAX LINQ shuttle, a passenger transportation company that offers affordable and reliable shuttle services between San Diego and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The reputation of the business has spread like wildfire as the husband-and-wife team were determined to establish a business with customer service in mind. The LAX LINQ shuttle is known by San Diego locals as one of the most reliable, efficient, and affordable ways to get from San Diego to the LAX airport and back. With stops in San Diego, Sorrento Valley, and Oceanside the couple has provided the “LINQ” between California’s southernmost cities and the LAX airport. Simultaneously, they managed to maintain the incredible price of $59 per ticket to make international travel accessible to everyone in the city. The couple have not strayed from their beginnings and continue to try to put the human touch in every aspect of the business. “Customers are regularly shocked that it’s just us answering the phone,” Adam stated, as he described why customers have gravitated toward their family-owned business approach.

Why Offer a San Diego to LAX Shuttle?

America's finest city is known for many things - the serene beaches, picturesque views of the bay, incredible year-round weather, but locals certainly understand the difficulty and cost of international travel. Zuzanna (who originally is from Poland), travels back to Europe frequently and discovered that flying out of San Diego is often $300 to $700 more expensive than much cheaper and direct flights departing out of LAX. She learned quickly that there were thousands of other people living in San Diego, needing to get to and from LAX airport for the faster, and significantly cheaper international flights. Therefore, the idea for San Diego to LAX shuttle, “The LAX LINQ” was born.

Is There Any Other Option to Get from The L.A. Airport to San Diego?

Until the husband-and-wife duo decided to develop a solution, the options for travel between the LAX airport and San Diego were incredibly limited. San Diegans had grown familiar with the options of taking the train or larger bus services to Downtown Los Angeles but many of them had experienced the horror of canceled busses and delayed trains. They learned from their early customers that the ride-share companies often decline requests for people going north or south to and from the Los Angeles Airport and when they were able to get picked up, they were often charged more than $200. The other methods San Diegans used to get to and from the LAX airport were leaving their own cars in long-term parking or renting vehicles and driving them one way. These methods have also been problematic for people traveling internationally as there have been incidents of people returning home from trips to find damaged personal vehicles or to find that the reserved rental car is not available. Adam, who is an Army veteran, and teaches at ROTC at UCSD, SDSU, and USD, found he was regularly using vacation days to drive Zuzanna to and from the LAX Airport.

Amazingly Convenient San Diego to LAX Shuttle Service

As there was not a satisfactory option, the two of them determined they would build a solution for the people of San Diego. The couple decided to offer a very simple service: pick up all passengers from one, central location, cut the competitor’s price in half, and offer a cheap, fast, and reliable shuttle that helps people get to and from “America’s finest city”. Since its inception, the LAX LINQ has never missed a pickup and has not only transported tens of thousands of happy customers to and from their international flights but has also saved countless people from having to drive back and forth to LAX to pick up their friends and family.

Customers are able to book their trips by purchasing individual tickets on the Company's official website: laxlinq.com

What’s Next for LAX LINQ?

In response to this question, Zuza stated, “We will add a 5th and 6th route in the next few months in order to be available for more travelers and we’ll be purchasing additional vehicles to meet the demand.” Upon hearing this response Adam laughed and commented that he is looking forward to seeing the next ridiculous wrap designs on LINQ new vans.
